Step-by-Step Hospitality Mobile Loyalty Setup

This is an overview of the tasks needed to get the Hospitality Mobile Loyalty up and running.

  1. Ensure that LS Nav has been installed.
  2. Ensure that the LS Omni Hospitality Loyalty solution is installed and configured.
  3. Set up Hospitality Mobile Loyalty data, such as offers, images, additional texts, restaurants, member management.
  4. Set up Hospitality Mobile Loyalty Menus. One menu at least must have been set up and enabled.
  5. Ensure that web services exist and are configured in NAV. The Web services setup is found later in this document.
  6. Ensure that the necessary jobs exist in NAV. The jobs, sub-jobs, and relevant setup are generated automatically by running the page WI Default Data (no. 10012868). It can also be configured manually (although not recommended).
  7. Set up your Distribution Locations. The From and To Locations for the jobs generated in the previous step need to contain the correct location information. Remember to test these locations.
  8. Run job M_2MOBILE_NORM. It may take several minutes to run this job depending on the number of retail items in the web store (Default Restaurant for the App) and number of related images. The process jobs M_CALC_STORE_HOURS and M_UPDATE_TRIGGERS need also to be run.
  9. Download the Hospitality Loyalty App onto your smartphone/device.
