Member Contacts are customers that can log into the eCommerce site and look at their shopping history, check offers, and do some shopping.
Each Member Contact is assigned to a Member Account. An Account can have more than one member, if it is not set as Private. A Member Account can be in a Member Club and the Club can have Scheme levels.
A Member Contact gets a Member Card and can have many Member Cards. Most functions in LS Central and Commerce work on the Member Card, as it is a unique identifier for the Contact. When an order is sent, only the Member Card ID is needed and from there the Contact and the Account can be looked up.
