Distribution Type, Table Distribution Setup
Here you can select the type of distribution you want the table to have.
The options are:
All - The table is distributed to and is valid in all retail locations. The user cannot change this location distribution.You do not need to use this distribution type.
Instead, the table should have no entry in this table since it should be replicated everywhere and
is valid everywhere. It does not need location distribution.
Specific - When the user creates a record in the table, the user must create location distribution in order for the record to be distributed somewhere and
be valid in some location.
Master Only - The table is distributed exactly like its Master Table ID and valid in the same locations.
Master Default - This option is not actively supported.
Table Default - The table is distributed according to location information existing in the table
itself, unless changed by the user. When the user inserts a record in the table,
the user selects a location or a location group type and group. The program uses this information to automatically create a corresponding entry in the Location Distribution
List table for the record. The user can change this default location distribution.
There are several tables that can have this distribution type: the Customer Price Group table,
the POS Terminal Receipt Header, Distribution Location, the
Shelf Label Setup and Item Label Setup.
No Distribution - The table has no distribution. No actions are created for this table.
All Default - The table is distributed to and is valid in all retail locations,
unless changed by the user. When the user inserts a record in the table the program creates an entry
for the record in the Location Distribution List table that consists of the No Filter and its corresponding
Distribution Subgroup. The user can change this default location distribution.
