If you have some additional features or functionality you sell and implement in projects, we recommend that you simplify your add-ons as much as possible as in LS Central SaaS.
You will need to test your apps every time LS Retail releases a new version. You will get 2 weeks to do so before the customer tenant is updated automatically. Simplifying will also give you a better overview and flexibility.
You must follow the rules that Microsoft enforces and must be respected by extensions. We also advise you to build auto tests. The more accurate your tests, the likelier you will achieve a successful implementation, minimize manual work, and improve your tests' accuracy. “Always running the same automated tests will lead to higher accuracy than doing manual test”.
