Configuring Display Stations for KDS Reporting

If you are using preparation stations and expeditors for your KDS system, you can configure your stations in a way that lets you run KDS reports showing the information you need, such as ticket time for each station and actual production time of items.

To configure your display stations for KDS reporting

1. Click the icon, enter Display Stations List, and select the relevant link.
2. Click Process - Update Rest. Display Stations Prod. Order.

Here you can select next stations, production order, and estimated ticket time as is appropriate.

Tip: If you have already been running KDS for some time, and decide to change the next stations and production order for your display stations, you can use the Update Changes for Related Data action on the page to update the existing data. It updates the necessary data tables and calculates actual ticket time and estimated ticket time according to the station setup, ready to be used in the KDS reports.

Production order

In a normal production order, preparation stations come first; they may be followed by secondary expeditors, and finally, expeditor stations come last. The order is important for sorting purposes and ticket time calculations.

For each preparation station, you must specify what station is next in the production order.
