The POS Command AVAILABILITY_MODE is used within the Sales POS to switch to the Availability mode. In this mode you can set the current available quantity for an item or deal. Once in that mode, each time you press a POS button with a PLU_K or DEAL command, the system prompts you to set the available quantity for the item or deal. -1 removes the availability limit. When the AVAILABILITY_MODE button is pressed again, the POS mode changes back to normal.
Note: There are permission settings for the AVAILABILITY_MODE command in Staff Permissions and Staff Permission Groups. The permissions are controlled by the field Edit Available Qty. in Staff Permissions and Staff Permission Groups under the Hospitality section.
