How to: Set Up Issuer Rights and Limitations

It is possible to specify certain rights and limitations for groups and issuers. The limitations control what the issuer or group can or cannot do. The limitation types are:

  • All – the issuer can write prescriptions for all drugs.
  • Control Group – the issuer can only write prescriptions for certain groups of drugs, for example general drugs.
  • Special Drug Group - the issuer can only write prescriptions for certain special drug groups. Note: The special group must exist before you can select this type of limitation.
  • ATC Group – the issuer can only write prescriptions for a certain ATC group , for example sodium fluoride. ATC is a classification of active ingredients of drugs according to the organ or system on which they act and their therapeutic, pharmacological, and chemical properties.
  • Division – the issuer can only write prescriptions for certain divisions, for example vitamins.
  • Category - the issuer can only write prescriptions for a certain category, for example antacids.
  • Product Group - the issuer can only write prescriptions for a certain product group, for example magnesium compounds.
  • Product - the issuer can only write prescriptions for a certain product, for example Risperdal.
  • Article - the issuer can only write prescriptions for a certain article, for example risperdal, tablets 0,5 mg 20 pcs.
  • Classification Group - the issuer can only write prescriptions for a certain classification group.

Note: If the Exclude Rights check box is selected, the issuer is not allowed to prescribe drugs with that particular limitation.
