How to: Set Up a Subscription and Prescription Reminder

  1. Go to Departments - LS Retail - Pharmacy - Pharmacy Setup - Prescription
  2. In the Prescription Setup section, click Subscription and Prescription Reminder Setup.
  3. Click New on the Home action menu.
  4. The fields in the Prescription Reminder FastTab are for internal use only and need not to be filled in:

    Field Description
    Period Internal use only.
    Extended Period Internal use only.
  1. Fill in the fields in the E-Mail FastTab:

    Field Description
    Email Subjects Here you put in the default email subject, for example: Message from the pharmacy.
    Email Body When using subscription confirmation in an email, you can enter a default text here.
    Email Greeting Here you enter the default email greeting from the pharmacy, for example: Dear customer.
    Email Prescription Internal use only.
    Email Signature Here you enter the default email signature, for example: Kind regards.
  1. Fill in the field in the SMS FastTab:

    Field Description
    SMS Text Enter a default text here if you are using subscription confirmation in SMS.

    You can use the variables %1, %2, and/or %3 for Item Description, Date, and Store Name. If the text contains these variables, the system replaces them with the text (in this order).

  1. Fill in the field in the Other FastTab:

    Field Description
    Order Ready Default Text It is possible to send a message to the pharmacy customer from the Prescription Order. This is a default text, if the text contains %1, the system replaces the variable with Prescription Order No.
