Cash Drawer

Cash drawer devices are handled and created as an OPOS device. Cash drawers are very often connected through an OPOS printer in a retail setup, but they still need to be created as a separate device in the Hardware Station.

To use this device in LS Central, the device needs to be added to the Hardware Profile. You can add the device automatically through the Detect Hardware functionality on the Hardware Profile.
You can configure the functionality of the Cash drawer in the POS Drawer Card in LS Central. When the device is added automatically through the Hardware Profile, all configurations are set with default values.
To use a drawer alert with this device, you can open the POS Drawer Card that is in use and configure the Drawer Alert settings.

Some of the configurations for this device are specific to the POS and can be found in the POS Terminal card in LS Central.
