The Line Display is an OPOS device which is the customer-facing display that shows information about each item that is scanned, the price, and the total balance to pay. These displays generally have two lines where information can be displayed to the customer. A Dual Display can also be used as a customer facing display.

To use this device in LS Central, the device needs to be added to the Hardware Profile. You can add the device automatically through the Detect Hardware functionality on the Hardware Profile. |

You can configure the functionality of the Line Display in the POS Line Display card in LS Central. When the device is added automatically through the Hardware Profile, all configurations are set with default values. |

Some of the configurations for this device are specific to the POS and can be found on the POS Terminal card in LS Central. |
