You must create at least one SCO Item Profile with Can be sold on SCO selected. This profile should be set as high up in the item hierarchy as possible, that is in Divisions. This will make it so that all items that belong to the Divisions will automatically be allowed to be sold on the SCO Device.
Any restrictions on a specific Retail Product Group or item can then be configured to have a different SCO Item Profile that has Can be sold on SCO as unselected.
When an item is being sold on the SCO Device, the LS Central system looks at the hierarchy of the item, starting on the item itself, and uses the configurations on the first SCO Item Profile it finds.
Feature flags
The items that can be sold on the SCO devices can have different configurations, depending on the self-checkout device. To allow each implementation to have their own configurations within the same LS Central instance, the SCO Item Profile uses the Feature flags to set these configurations.
Note: The SCO Item Profile can be set on an Item, Item Category, Retail Product Group, and Division.
