Discount Tracking is a functionality that lets you monitor, manage, and limit discounts for members in a club for a certain period. The discount limitation can be a fixed amount per member contact, account, scheme, or club, or it can be the number of times the discount is triggered.
There are three steps that you must complete in order to use Discount Tracking:
- Create a new offer which will then be connected to the new Discount Tracking setup.
- Configure a setup for Discount Tracking.
- Configure a discount limitation for one of these: a club, scheme, member account, or member contact.
Step 1: To create an offer for Discount Tracking
Note: In the following the offer type is the Total Discount Offer, but you can use most offer types with Discount Tracking.
- Click the icon, enter Total Discount Offer, and select the relevant link.
- Click New to create a new discount offer.
- Fill in the fields in the General and Line FastTabs as needed.

The setup of discount tracking with a discount limitation for a member account is now complete. Remember that discount tracking can be set up either as a discount amount or a number of times the discount is triggered.
Note: In this example the discount limitation is applied to a member account. Similar instructions apply to member contacts, schemes, and clubs. Note that if you are working with member schemes or clubs, the Discount Limitation action is to be found on the Action menu.
Discount tracking can be very practical and can be used in a variety of ways; a few examples:
- New members of a club will get a 5% discount for the first two sales.
- Staff members belong to a staff club, and they get maximum discount amount per year.
- A sports club makes an agreement for its members that they receive a maximum discount amount per month.
The system will log all transactions originating from the POS that are triggered by the Discount Tracking card.
