Item Finder
The Item Finder is used to set up and maintain item queries to find a given item. The Item Finder lets the user structure a list of restrictions to limit the resulting item selection list. Having a set of restrictions that limit the number of items matching a query makes it easier to find the item you are looking for.
In the Item Finder Setup page you define a set of restrictions that limit the items for final selection. Each restriction can either target fields from the item table or be targeted at variants, special groups, or item attributes.
The Item Finder can be implemented in every process where finding an item is needed, for example at the POS. In the POS, the POS command ITEMFINDER is used to start the Item Finder.
