How to: Create a Store Inventory Line from Item
An item can be added to any Store Inventory worksheet directly from the Retail Item List page, the Retail Item Card page, or the Variant Worksheet page.
- Select the Store Inventory Action action on any of these pages (in the Retail Item List, for example, click Actions - Functions - Store Inventory Action).
- A dialog box appears where you are asked to enter the number of units you want to create the entry for. A Unit of measure code will be set according to the defined Default UoM setting in the receiving worksheet. You can adjust this in the Worksheet Journal, if allowed in the worksheet settings.
- Enter the desired quantity, click OK, and then select the receiving worksheet from the list of available worksheets.
Note: If the user is assigned to a store in Retail User, the list will only show worksheets defined for that store. - The new line is now created in the receiving worksheet and displayed. You can now edit the worksheet, if needed, and then process or post it:
