To create a Special Drug Group
Substance Groups are groups that define the substances in a drug.
ATC Group is a classification of active ingredients in drugs according to the organ or system on which they act and their therapeutic, pharmacological, and chemical properties.
Control Group is used to identify if the drug is allowed on prescriptions from all issuers, or if there are restrictions, such as if the drug must be prescribed by a specialist.
Special Drug Group. The issuer can only write prescriptions for certain special drug groups. Note: The special group must exist before you can select this type of limitation.
To create a Substance Group
- Click the
icon, enter Substance Groups, and select the relevant link. - Click the New action, and fill in the fields.
Field Description Code Here you enter a name for the code. Description Here you write a description of the code, often the same as the code name.
To create an ATC Group
- Click the icon, enter ATC Group List, and select the relevant link.
- Click the New action, and fill in the fields:
Field Description Code Here you enter a name for the code. Note: If you need to create a new code in the system, you must use the naming convention for ATC codes that is prescribed by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Description Here you write a description of the code.
To create a Control Group
- Click the icon, enter Control Group, and select the relevant link.
- Click the New action, and fill in the fields:
Field Description Code Here you enter a name for the code, for example N for Narcotics or V for Vet. Description Here you write a description of the code, for example Narcotics. Narcotics Select this check box, if the group should belong to narcotics. Multiple Withdrawals Select this check box, if the group should allow multiple withdrawals. To create a Special Drug Group
- Click the icon, enter Special Drug Groups, and select the relevant link.
- Click the New action, and fill in the fields:
Field Description Code Here you enter a name for code. Description Here you write a description of the code, often the same as the code name. Special Drug
