Note: LS Forecast Locations should always be up-to-date before calculating the Monthly Sales Bucket. By default, a notification is shown at the top of the Monthly Sales Buckets page as a reminder. This notification can be enabled or disabled via the Disable Notification (Monthly Sales Bucket) setting in LS Forecast Setup.
To view and modify Monthly Sales Bucket Lines
- Select the Monthly Sales Bucket that you wish to view or modify and click the Show Lines action, or click the No. of Lines field.
- The Monthly Sales Bucket Lines page is displayed with the calculated weight and percentage share.
Based on the Calculation Type selected, the Weight represents the total sales quantity or sales amount calculated by grouping the sales history of the relevant item(s) into 31 days (corresponds to day 1 to day 31 in a month) across the period calculated from the defined Sales History Since. The % Shares for the days of the month are automatically calculated and distributed, based on the Weights. However, due to the variation of the number of days present in a month, the % Share for day 28, day 29, day 30, and day 31 will be recalculated based on the month of the forecast result upon the breakdown. Refer to Monthly Sales Bucket Calculation for details on how the % Share is being recalculated dynamically before it is used for breakdown.
Note: If there is no sales history found, the Weights and % Shares will be equally distributed.
- You can also modify the Weights manually, if needed.
