Prescriptions With Multiple Drugs
A prescription can have more than one drug in it. In this example the prescription is an e-prescription. Prescriptions with two or more drugs are handled in the same way as a one-drug prescription, see How to: Create an e-Prescription Order.
The example below shows the Customer Prescriptions list and in it a prescription with two drugs.
Note: Because they belong to the same prescription, both drugs have the same Prescription No. , but the suffix following the hyphen tells them apart.
The main difference between prescriptions with two or more drugs and regular prescriptions is that the Edit Prescription Order Line page has two pages for prescriptions with multiple drugs, the first page with the heading Prescription 1 of 2.
The example below shows the suffix 1 at the end of the Prescription No. This means that this Prescription Order Line is the first of two drugs in the prescription itself.
Tip: To go to the next Prescription Order Line that belongs to this prescription, click Next on the Home action menu.
