The Mock EFT device is not part of the Virtual Station itself, but rather an LS Pay configuration in the Management Portal of the Hardware Station. It is created like other EFT devices (described here), but Mock is chosen when you select a Payment Provider. In general, the mock device will always respond successfully to any requests, except if the amount is set to very specific numbers. You can see a list of these amounts and more information on the mock device here.
A mock EFT device is created like any other EFT device in the Management Portal. When you select a payment provider, simply choose Mock.

To be able to use the mock EFT device in the POS, you must add the device to the Hardware Profile through the Detect Hardware operation. |

No specific configurations are done on the mock device. The available fields are just for show, except the last field, Even number - needs to be int and an even number. If this field is not an even number greater than 0, the device will fail validation and throw an error. This is only a way to test the validation process in LS Pay. |
