Dallas Key

A Dallas Key is a device where all POS users have their own Dallas key and can use the key to log on and off the POS. The LS Central POS always handles a Dallas Key as a log on or off operation, and a Dallas Key cannot be used as a manager override.

A Dallas key device can either be a serial device or an OPOS device. If it is an OPOS device, it is handled as an authentication device within LS Central and Hardware Station, and should be created under that device type (not as a Dallas Key).
