Store Inventory
Store Inventory is used to create store specific inventory processes that are used to simplify the task of maintaining an inventory.
Store Inventory is based on LS Retail tables instead of standard Dynamics Business Central tables. This makes processing easier and faster and without locking problems.
Store Inventory is activated through the Store Inventory Setup page.
Note: The Store Inventory replaces the InStore Management worksheets.
Inventory types
Store Inventory operates with ten different inventory types and all can conveniently be managed in a single worksheet. You simply enter an item number and a quantity value in the worksheet, and then finish the processing in the journal list. Multiple users can work simultaneously in the same worksheet.
The inventory types are:
- Counting
- Labels
- Negative Adjustment
- Positive Adjustment
